Record £8800 RAISED FOR LOCAL CHARITIES
Three local North West companies raise a record £8800 at their Annual Charity Event, for North West Air Ambulance and MacMillan Nurses.
Every year Bay Horse based RE Buildings Ltd, Malmo Guns and the New Holly Pub, Forton get together and hold a Clay Pigeon Shoot and Evening Event to raise funds for local causes. Each year, with the generosity of the public and suppliers, they have been able to increase the amount collected.
Hazel & Ken Ronson from RE Buildings and the New Holly said “ We believe in supporting the local community and this is one way of helping the charities who are in great need of financial support. The response each year has been wonderful and we would like to say thank you to all those who have supported the event and we look forward to seeing them again this year”.
The Prest family from Malmo Guns said, “The weather on the day was against us, so we are thrilled by the huge response. Organising the event is hard work but being able to give something back to the community in this way, is well worth all our efforts. Here’s hoping for better weather this year!”
